Godzilla: King of the Monsters will debut in theaters next month, and the newest trailer has just been unveiled.

According to director and cowriter Michael Dougherty, “the film takes place about five years after the previous chapter [2014’s Godzilla], and it follows the mysterious scientific group known as Monarch as they attempt to understand why Godzilla and his kind are reappearing in our world.”

Vera Farmiga plays a Monarch scientist who has been kidnapped by a mysterious organization, which has their own intentions or their own plans for the creatures, and Millie Bobby Brown plays her daughter. The cast also includes Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Ken Watanabe.
