One of the best parts about 4th of July is snuggling up next to your loved ones and watching the light show in the sky.

No matter where you live in the Stateline area, there is a Firework show near by. Here’s your options in 2019:

1. Amboy: Saturday, July 6 from 4 – 10 p.m. Amboy Fireworks Family Event: carnival games, bouncy house, rock wall, face painting, free truck rides.

2. Beloit:  Thursday, July 4 from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m., Fireworks following the Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra concert.

3. Belvidere: Sunday, June 30 from 9:15 – 11:15 p.m., Heritage Days Fireworks.

4. Cary: Wednesday, July 3 from 6:30 -10 p.m. at Lions Park.

5. Cherry Valley: Wednesday, July 4, Cherry Valley 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, parade at 1 p.m., fireworks after dusk

6. Crystal Lake: Thursday, July 4, 1 p.m. parade, fireworks approx 9:30 p.m.

7. Davis Junction: Tuesday, July 3, Fireworks and Movies in the Park, Kung Fu Panda 3, 8:30 – 10:30 p.m.

8. DeKalb: Saturday June 29 from 4 – 10 p.m. at Hinckley-Big Rock High School.

9. Durand: Thursday, July 4, 4th of July Festival, parade starts at 4 p.m.

10. Freeport: Saturday, July 6, Light the Night 2019 Freedom Fest.

11. Hinckley: Saturday, June 29, Hinckley Fireworks Fest & Car Show. 4 – 10 p.m. at Hinckley-Big Rock High School.

12. Huntley: Thursday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m. in Deicke Park.

13. Janesville, WI.: Thursday, July 4; Independence Day on the Rock, Traxler Park 9:20 p.m.

14. Kirkland: Saturday July 6, Kirkland Lions Club 71st Annual 4th of July Celebration, Franklin Township Park

15. Loves Park: Wednesday, July 3, America’s Greatest Birthday Party Fireworks Extravaganza, Rockford Speedway

16. Mt. Morris: Thursday, July 4, grand parade and motorcycle parade from 2 – 3:30 p.m., fireworks at dusk. Rain date, July 7.

17. Rockford: Thursday, July 4, Rockford 4th of July Celebration, Davis Park, fireworks at dusk.

18. Rochelle: Thursday, July 4 at 8 p.m., 10th avenue and 20th street.

19. Stockton: Thursday, July 4; Stockton Memorial Park on HWY 20, 4th of July Celebration fireworks at dusk, celebration from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

20. Shorewood Park: Thursday, July 4 at 7 p.m. Ski Broncs Waterski Show and Firework Display.

21. Winnebago: Thursday, July 4, Village of Winnebago 4th of July Family Festival at Winnebago High School

22. Woodstock: Thursday, July 4; Woodstock Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display, $8 per car, Emricson Park beginning at dusk.

  1. Ummmm I live in Dekalb and the fireworks are not the date or place posted. DeKalb’s fireworks are on the 4th of July at Hopkins park in town. There is a big banner stating this at the park
