While it was a difficult decision, it’s one we all would make. Family trumps everything.

If you’re on social media at all, you’ve probably gotten to know Brian and Stacy Weavel. They are the owners of Anna’s Pizza & Pasta in Winnebago.

They are always posting their delicious food on Instagram , connecting with local business owners and media personalities and are very involved in the community.

Pizza and pasta aren’t the only things they do (they were voted the Rockford area’s #1 pizza place!), they also have done many fundraisers. To give you an idea of how generous they are, they have raised over $250,000 for schools, reading programs, athletics, the sick, the needy, church groups, sponsoring, etc. To say they have made a positive impact is an understatement.

Brian and Stacy announced on social media that they will be closing Anna’s Pizza & Pasta after 24  years. While it was a difficult decision, I think it’s one all of us would make.

Nothing compares to your family.

Brian and Stacy mention in the Instagram Post below that having a family that is very active and working 80 hours a week, 7 days a week can be very taxing and doesn’t leave much time for family, which is most important.

There isn’t an official end date set, but it will be in the next few months.

Thank you for everything Brian and Stacy, especially that incredible pizza.
