Unfortunately, The Alpine Kiwanis Board and Club members have decided to cancel 2020 Brat Days. It’s unfortunate as this is their signature fundraising event that raises a lot of money for them to give back to the community – to local non-profits serving children, the elderly and the disabled, and for youth scholarships.
According to their press release, “This was not an easy decision to make this early but necessary due to the unforeseen COVID-19 and effects it may have to continue planning for this large of an event – Difficult particularly to ask businesses and companies that may be going through difficult times right now, to sponsor the event and to ask for volunteers, food vendors and entertainers commitments. And, of course thinking as well for the overall safety, health and well-being of the general public that attend.”
“We will stay in touch with you for the future – with plans for 2021. Thanks for your continued commitment and support to Alpine Kiwanis Brat Days. Stay safe and healthy.”
