American Legion Post #1207 is hosting a drive-thru Veteran’s memorial event to remember those who died for our country and to honor those who served. This is all happening with one quick easy drive-thru!

If you don’t have a mask, do not worry, the American Legion Post #1207 has received 200 disposable type face masks that they plan on giving out to those who do not have a mask as they drive by. (While Supply Lasts).

Are you trying to get your Poppy this year, but you don’t know how to get one with this COVID-19
outbreak? OR – Are you curious and don’t know what this “Poppy Thing” is all about? Then, stop by, get your Poppy, and see for yourself what it is all about. All from a “Safe Distance” with “Hands-
Free” distribution. (Poppies are FREE – but donations are accepted to help our Veterans-in-need.)

Bring along some canned goods, boxed goods, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, facial masks, cleaning products, toilet paper, paper towels, this is all to donate and help our needy Veterans and our local Food Bank.

Do you have an old or worn-out flag that you’ve wanted to properly dispose of for a while now? Drop it off, and the American Legion Post #1207 will ensure it is “Retired with Honor and Dignity”

FREE TO ALL VETERANS- Spaghetti Dinner with a 2-ounce meatball, Italian sausage, a
garlic bread-stick, with butter, and a bag of chips. Spaghetti does come with or without Meat. If you aren’t a veteran and still want to get in on this spaghetti dinner, they will be accepting a CASH ONLY $5 DONATION to help support your local American Legion.

This is all happening Sunday, May 31st from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm across from Heartland Church at 1011 South Alpine Road in Rockford. They are asking to please drive south on Alpine Road towards Broadway & come in through the front entrance.
