Due to COVID-19, Rock Valley College’s Starlight Theater, unfortunately, had to cancel its 2020 season which included musical productions like, Hello Dolly, Disaster, Dream Girls, How I Became a Pirate, and The Little Mermaid. But, as we say in the show biz, “The show must go on!” And that’s exactly what they are doing.

Artistic Director, Chris Brady, and his creative team have put together a LIVE segment on RVC Starlight’s Facebook Page called, “Virtually Starlight.” The first week featured an old Starlight Alumni, Tony Award Nominee, and familiar voice, Jodi Benson. She was the voice of The Little Mermaid, Thumbelina, and of Barbie in Toy Story 2 & 3. Jodi talks from Georgia about Atlanta’s Comic-Con, where she got her voice from, and where it all began.
