On Monday, July 21st, Twisted Crypt, located at 5420 E State Street in Rockford announced that it is suspending the operation of it’s haunted house for the Halloween 2020 season and says that they will return in 2021.

The organization wrote on Facebook, “This was such a difficult decision to make and it will be weird not spending our Fall at Twisted Crypt Haunted House. The most important thing to us is our guests and crews safety. So much work is also done to prepare the attraction on a yearly basis and we still do not know if any haunted house will legally be able to open this Fall. We hope to see you all in 2021 and we promise that we will be back and better than ever!”
