If you’re looking for a job, this might be the right fit for you. Employees are training to ship products at Beloit’s new Amazon warehouse that is now open. A St. Paul-based public relations firm announced in a press release on Monday, August 17th.

Larger items such as bicycles, Larger household goods, pet food, fishing rods, patio furniture, and sports equipment, will be packed and shipped by staff. The release said that this location currently employs more than 500 full-time workers.

Amazon planned to build on an 80-acre lot near the interstate, confirmed by Beloit City Leaders. The plot of land was sold by The Greater Beloit Economic Development Corporation for $80 that same month.

To fill the Beloit warehouse, the company is currently continuing to hire more positions. The press release said that all employees who enter the building will have their temperature taken as a precaution to prevent COVID-19.
