After 71 years of hosting Greenwich Village Art Fair outside in downtown Rockford, Illinois, the Rockford Art Museum has announced that this year’s fair will look a little different. Throughout the years they’ve seen it all: downpours, swarms of bees, scorching sun and freezing Midwestern summer days, but it took a pandemic to keep the event inside. Taking into consideration local and state-wide recommendations, they’ve decided to move the 72nd Greenwich Village Art Fair online. The fair will still be a juried show featuring great local and regional artists and will remain a two-day event.

The fair website will go live, featuring the amazing artists juried into this year’s fair, on Saturday, September 19 and will continue through the weekend.
