Tik Tok Wins: If you’re into the whole TikTok thing, good news for you. A federal judge has struck down the ban. US district judge Wendy Beetlestone… awesome name, Wendy… said in her ruling that the threats the government claimed were posed by TikTok were hypothetical and that they didn’t really provide evidence of a threat to national security. So rejoice and continue shooting dumb videos of yourself dancing. Read more. 

Even Farther Cry: If you were looking forward to playing FarCry 6 this February, you’re going to have to wait a little longer. It seems like every game is getting delayed, and this one is a direct result of the pandemic. The game’s developer, Ubisoft, says delaying the release is the best way to make sure their work from home conditions are properly handled for their employees. If you’re looking for a concrete date on when we can play FarCry 6… well… they said it will come about between April 2021 and March 2022… Thanks, Ubisoft, that narrows it down. Read this.

eInjuries: Well, it looks like getting into eSports instead of physical sports isn’t going to save you from injury. Professionals are saying that day-long gamers suffer from mental issues like insomnia and depression, along with injuries to hands, wrists, forearms, and posture related problems. And these injuries have been known to ruin e-sports careers, just as they would a football player’s career.  More here.
