The City of Beloit, through the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC), is launching the Small Business Assistance Forgivable Loan Program and the Nano Grant Program to assist micro and small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

$60,000 has been approved by the City of Beloit for small business forgivable loans up to $10,000. These dollars will assist a minimum of 6 businesses in the City of Beloit. In addition, $25,000 has been approved for the nano grant program, which will assist 5 businesses with a grant of $5,000 each. Applications will be received starting at noon on November 18 on a first come first serve basis and will be time-stamped upon receipt. Business owners cannot apply for both programs.

The first step in the application process will be available at noon on Tuesday, November 18. Applications will be received on a first come first serve basis, being time-stamped upon receipt. The application will remain open until noon on Tuesday, November 25.
