Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

Go Moon Racer: A remote control car race is scheduled for October next year featuring vehicles created by high school students… the catch is, the race is going to take place on the moon. The students will work with Frank Stephenson of McLaren P1 fame to create the finished cars that will be sent to the moon courtesy of the SpaceX program.  That’s very exciting for a high school student. All the author of this blog did in high school was fail Spanish twice. Read the story.

Microspy: You may want to watch yourself if your company is one that uses Microsoft 360. A report hints that these companies could use that software to spy on you through the use of productivity scores. So if you work too fast, you’ll have more downtime and your company might think you’re unproductive. But if you work too slow because you wanna get it right, it may look like you’re not doing enough.. either way you’re screwed.  Your company probably ISN’T doing that.. but it’s worth noting. More here.

eBay PS5 Scam: More than once in this blog, I’ve referenced the price gouging jerks on eBay. Well,m now there are some other eBay jerks to look out for. These scammers are apparently posting photos of a Playstation 5 for sale, but if you read the wording carefully, what you’re actually buying… is the picture of the PS5. They’re getting around it by putting the word Photo in parentheses.  Buyer beware in these situations, but eBay says they are taking action against these jerk-o’s. Source.
