All aboard! There is something magical about trains – especially when it is taking you to see Santa!

The East Troy (WI) Railroad Museum invites your family for a ride on their annual Christmas Train. It’s a pretty slick set-up. Once you arrive, you remain in your heated vehicle and tune to their radio frequency (90.9 FM). Groups are called into the East Troy Depot for check-in and use of  the bathrooms before boarding.

Aboard the train, you take a ride in heated cars down to Santa’s Workshop (Elegant Farmer) to pick up the big guy himself. Kids will enjoy music and coloring on the way down. The elves are very busy this year so, instead of going into the workshop, you will pick up Santa who will share gifts with the kids on the way back to East Troy. Parties will receive a bag of decorated cookies upon their return to East Troy. The gift shop will also be open for shopping when your arrive back at the train depot.

The Depot opens at 9am and closes after the last train arrives at the station. The total experience is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.  You’re asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure.
