Mired in a 6 game losing streak the Chicago Bears were looking for any sign of a
light at the end of the tunnel and they got it in a big way as on the Bears first play
from scrimmage against the visiting Houston Texans RB David Montgomery took
it 80 yards to the house. The Bears built upon that positive momentum and took a
30-7 lead into halftime. This time around however the Bears did not squander that
lead and ended up with a 36-7 victory. The 2 nd half wasn’t exciting for the Bears
offense but it didn’t have to be. Mitch Trubisky looked pretty decent in the win as
they play calls played to his strength of getting outside the pocket. Trubisky threw
for 267 yards and 3 TDs in the win. The Bears defense looked good coming up
with 7 sacks and a safety. The Bears are now 6-7 and have an outside shot at the
playoffs. Up next a trip to Minnesota Sunday to take on the Vikings.

Speaking of the Vikings they lost to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
yesterday 26-14 the final. The Green Bay Packers clinched the NFC North crown
beating the Lions in Detroit 31-24 the final.

The Kansas City Chiefs are your AFC West champs beating the Miami Dolphins in
a game that was closer than most expected it to be 33-27 was the final.

Jalen Hurts made his first NFL start for the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday and led
them to a 24-21 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Despite coming off the
injured list Drew Brees did not play in this one as it was once again Taysom Hill in
at Quarterback for the Saints.

The New York Jets remained winless on the season with an embarrassing effort
against the Seattle Seahawks losing 40-3.

The Washington Football Club is now in first place in the NFC East thanks to their
23-15 win over San Francisco and the New York Giants 26-7 loss to Arizona.

The Pittsburgh Steelers after starting the season 11-0 have now lost 2 in a row as
they fell to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football last night 26-15. The Bills
