Strolling through Anderson Japanese Gardens, taking in the beauty and serenity has become a Rockford tradition. Soon to be entering its 43rd year, some of the original areas of the Garden need some attention. The main transition into the Pond Strolling Garden is the South Gate which was built 35 years ago and now needs some extra TLC.

The original posts require replacement because they are rotting, along with a new cedar roof,  flagstone restoration at the entrance and stairs, and new bamboo fencing near this unique wooden feature.  They cannot do this without the support of their Garden supporters and the community.
