Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

The Power of Blumhouse Compels You: After a successful reboot of Halloween in 2018, Blumhouse is now working on a sequel to The Exorcist. David Gordon Green, who directed the Halloween reboot will be at the helm of this new Exorcist film, which will likely be a direct sequel that ignores all the other sequels that came out between 1977 and 2005. Will Linda Blair on board? We’d love to see that happen.

Meanwhile in the Hall of Justice: The Snyder Cut of the Justice League is coming. There were some reshoots but Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984) is saying that she had nothing to do with the reshoots. Her scenes will remain the same, but she is happy that the cut is happening. The Snyder Cut will feature 150 minutes of unseen footage.

And in Tech News: Apparently Fortnite is throwing some shade at Apple with their Free Fortnite campaign. As you know Apple won’t allow Fortnite in the app store, so Epic Games, developers of Fortnite, have been sending out Samsung phones to their social media influencers, in packaging similar to Apple packaging with a note that says “While Fortnite may not currently be available on the App Store or Google Play, you can still get the latest updates through Epic games or the Galaxy Store. #FreeFortnite.” Your move, Apple.
