Until further notice, for Rochelle residents who have alleyway trash collection, the service has been canceled.

The city said in a Facebook post, “Due to low-hanging power lines and ice in the alleyways, there will be no alley trash collection until further notice. Please move your trash to the street side of the home for collection.”

For those who have Monday trash collection and have already put their garbage out in the alleyway, Northern Illinois Disposal will collect again on Tuesday.
