Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

Bush-Hawke?: Last week we told you that Oscar Isaac has signed on to play the title characters in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, Moon Knight. Well, over the weekend, Ethan Hawke closed a deal to play the villain in that series. It’s not known exactly which villain he will play, but it is likely the main villain from the Moon Knight comics, Bushman. That series begins shooting in March.

They Thought Wrong: We may now know the reason that Cyberpunk 2077’s rollout was so poorly received. A good bet is that the developers weren’t finished. A report says that many employees of CD Projekt Red did not think the game would be ready until 2022. They were forced to develop the game and the engine at the same time, which one dev described as “driving a train while tracks are being laid in front of you at the same time.”

Big Movie Gets Early Release: While many major motion pictures are seeing their release dates delayed due to the coronavirus, it looks like Warner Brothers, in an agreement to make good with Legendary Entertainment, has bumped up the release of “Godzilla Vs. Kong” from May 21st to March 27th. At that time, the movie will hit both theaters and HBO Max.
