Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

Harry Potter and The Not True Lies: Yesterday, rumors were swirling around that a Harry Potter live action series was in the works by Warner Brothers to stream on HBO Max. These are just rumors for now, plus HBO Max and Warner Brothers have publicly denied that any such series is coming.

Who Do They Think They Are, Disney?: The new streaming platform from NBC known as Peacock just seems to be taking over everything we love. It started with The Office at the end of the year, and they have just purchased the rights to the WWE Network for five years in the US. Which means that starting on March 18th, all 17 thousand plus hours of new, original and library WWE content will be available exclusively on Peacock. If you’re already a subscriber to the WWE Network, you may be migrated to Peacock for 4.99 a month.  If you want it ad free, though, it’s gonna be 9.99. That’s how they getcha.

And the next EA Star Wars game will reportedly be a reboot of Knights of the Old Republic. EA says that an outside studio is working on the game with them and have stated that fans quote “will never guess” which one.  This game will be in addition to an earlier announced bounty hunter game being worked up with Ubisoft.
