Each winter, the Rockford Park District hosts the Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition at Sinnissippi Park.
The winner of this year’s contest was The Band of Misfit Boys for their sculpture called “Hootie and the Blowfish.” The Band of Misfit Boys will advance to the U.S. Nationals Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, WI. The snow sculptures will remain at Sinnissippi Park for as long as the weather allows it.
