Cara Done: We have seen the last of Gina Carano on the Mandalorian. Carano, who played bounty hunter Cara Dune on the Disney+ series, has been fired due to “abhorrent and unacceptable” comments on social media allegedly comparing the US Government to Nazi Germany. Lucasfilm has stated that they will not work with her in the future.

That’s Joss Disgusting: Allegations against Joss Whedon, who directed some of the Marvel stuff and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, are stacking up. “Buffy” star Charisma Carpenter tweeted accusing him of toxic and hostile behavior, verbal abuse, and other misconduct. Actors Ray Fischer and Sara Michelle Gellar have backed up her claims.

In Tech News: European police agency Europol (no points for name creativity) has broken up a hacking network that stole $100M in cryptocurrency from mobile devices of celebrities. The criminals used a technique called “Sim-Swapping,” wherein they trick a mobile company into deactivating a working SIM and transferring control to one on the hacker’s phone.  It is not known which celebrities are the victims.
