Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

Bam Needs Help:  As you may have already heard Bam Margera was fired from Jackass 4. Since then, he has been blowing up social media, posting and then deleting things about the movie and the people involved saying that the team does not care about him. However, the Jackass team IS still in his corner. They’ve apparently been trying to get him more help for his substance issues. Margera went AWOL in the early days of filming and checked himself into a Florida rehab.

Next Wednesday:  Tim Burton is reportedly on board for a live action Netflix series about Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Wednesday is of course the daughter in the family, previously played by Christina Ricci in the 90s and voiced by Chloe Grace Moretz in the recent CG films. No word on casting yet for this iteration.

Weird Elton: Parody performer and musical comedy genius, Weird Al Yankovic, says that he got the idea to be a musician from listen to Elton John. He bought the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album, and learned music by playing along to that record on his accordion. He says it allowed him to lie to himself that the accordion was a quote “Perfectly acceptable Rock n Roll Instrument.”
