Today is National Margarita Day because at this point we all need any excuse to drink on a random Monday in mid-February during a pandemic right?!

According to a new study, they ranked all 50 states by their love of margaritas based on Google search trends and Illinois came in 11th! This is surprising considering all the delicious Mexican restaurants we have here in the Stateline.

Another survey also found that only 15% of people only drink margaritas on vacation and 5% always get really bad hangovers from the mix of sugar and tequila. This survey, also states that only 3% judge people who order frozen margaritas.
