Rockford Park District’s Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens offers unique and fun “TO GrOw” classes with nature-themed projects for ages five and up to create either virtually from home, or in person at the Conservatory; adults are welcome, too!

Upcoming 45-minute Saturday morning sessions offered are: Flower Press on March 13, Butterfly Zen Garden on April 17, and Bumble Bee Nests on May 15, and are $10 per box plus $4 per person for in-person (limited capacity; facial masks required). The virtual attendance option is $10 per activity box (virtual class included in box fee). All supplies needed are included with each option.

Safety has been and will continue to be a top priority for the Rockford Park District. The District has worked with and followed guidelines from the CDC, IDPH, Restore Illinois, and local health officials to develop procedures and protocols to ensure a fun and safe recreational experience.
