Parents in Freeport received a nice surprise when they signed their kids up for little league baseball over the past weekend.

The charity organization Amy’s All-Stars picked up the tab for 21 kids to play baseball. Last year they were able to provide 12 registration fees but this year they were able to almost double that with some help from the community.

Brendt Dikkers started Amy’s All-Stars last year in honor of his wife who recently passed away. He wanted to make sure her legacy lived on through something she loved. Read more below…
