Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

  • We Saw This One Coming: Last week, we posed the question as to whether Bethesda games would be available exclusively on XBox after the Microsoft buyout. We now know a little bit more about what will go down. All existing titles that are under contract with other platforms (Fallout , Elder Scrolls, etc) will remain available on those platforms. So feel free to do your fortieth runthrough of Fallout 4’s main story.  However, moving forward, all new titles will be XBox-exclusive, and there is a possibility that they will be only available to Xbox Game Pass members.  Thanks alot, Bill Gates.
  • Turn On The Signal!: According to a post by actress Zoe Kravitz, the next Batman movie, cleverly titled The Batman, has finished principal photography. She posted a picture of the productions final clapboard slate with the hashtag #LastDay. Kravitz will play Catwoman in that film .
  • Clever, Cameron: So if you once had the highest grossing film of all time, and then some now-Disney-owned movies came along and destroyed your record, what would you do? Perhaps make another movie in your franchise to beat out those films? That would be a logical move, but Avatar went a different route. The film is now the world’s highest grossing film ever again, after they re-released it in China this year, helping it to surpass the Star Wars and Avengers films that put it to shame. Others might call this cheating, but hey, it is technically revenue. Right?
