Good news if you’re a person who waits until the last second to do your taxes. The IRS has announced that they are pushing the deadline to file your FEDERAL TAXES until May 17th.

The government wants to give Americans more time because the pandemic made taxes more complicated for some people. The IRS is also swamped with it’s workload right now and is still processing millions of 2020 tax returns. However the deadline to file your STATE Taxes Remains at April 15th.
