The best part of the summer is jumping on I-90 to the Windy City, taking pictures in front of The Bean, visiting the sea creatures at Shedd Aquarium, and experiencing the culture of Navy Pier. Here is some exciting news, if you go to the Navy Pier website, it says “Welcome Back, Chicago, reopening April 30th.”

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Navy Pier has had its longest closure in recent history and is planning to begin a phased reopening to safely allowed guests back, at the end of this month.

With COVID-19 protocols in place, Navy Pier will restore public access to only select outdoor attractions such as Navy Pier parking garages, Polk Bros Park, Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion, North and South Docks, Pier Park, East End Plaza, tour boats and cruises, the new Sable hotel, and select restaurants at limited capacity.

Book your trip, and read more about the attractions that are open HERE.
