Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios, has acquired North American VOD rights to the faith-themed romantic drama WITHOUT GRACE. WITHOUT GRACE will be available to rent and own on North American digital, HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms and on DVD May 18, 2021 through Freestyle Digital Media.
Based on a true story WITHOUT GRACE tells the story of what happens when an unexpected tragedy rocks the lead character, Lucas. This tragedy causes Lucas to question his once-strong faith. Lucas is an average, everyday guy that pretty much has everything he ever wanted. He has a good job, a great group of friends, strong faith, and a wonderful relationship with the girl of his dreams. An unexpected tragedy changes everything and rocks him to his core to the point that he actually questions his once-strong faith. His outlandish friends rally to try and help him find what he has lost in a series of ill-timed and ill-planned events that seem to do more harm than good. The journey that Lucas embarks on is fraught with unexpected obstacles and spectacularly odd encounters that will test his resolve. He begins to find hope and maybe even recapture his faith from the unlikeliest of people that cross his path, but is it enough to make his way back to the man he once was?
Written and directed by Matthew Cichella, WITHOUT GRACE features an ensemble cast including Shannon Brown (‘Lucas’), Heidi Kurzejka (‘Grace’), Hilary Anderson (‘Brooklyn’), and Jimmie Tolliver (‘Mason’). WITHOUT GRACE was produced by Matthew Cichella, John Wesley Norton, Mitch Wright II, Rick Roland, Jr., Suzette Brown, and Dave Block.

Freestyle Digital Media negotiated the deal to acquire WITHOUT GRACE directly with filmmaker Matthew Cichella.
