From electric scooters to floating docks at Davis Park, it was a busy Monday night for the Rockford City Council. After passing a pilot operating agreement with Bird Rides, Inc, Alderpersons gave the go for electric scooters to make their way to the downtown area.

According to the Ninth Ward Alderperson, we can expect to see the scooters rolling out as early as next month. Council members also approved floating docks which will be installed near Davis Park on the Rock River. These won’t be installed until next summer.
