If you’re looking for a dish to pass that will be a hit for your Memorial Day party, you’ve come to the right place. You can make queso in the oven and in the crockpot. But have you ever tried queso on the grill? This will forever change your life.

This is probably the simplest and yummiest queso recipe EVER. All you gotta do is grab an aluminum pan, some ground beef, chorizo, a bunch of different cheeses, jalapenos, onions, garlic, stick it all in that pan and let the grill do the rest!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 pound of chorizo (optional: Add extra ground beef if omitted)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • taco seasoning
  • 1 block of Colby Jack Cheese
  • 1 package of Velveeta
  • 1 bag of queso cheese blend
  • 1 bag of pepper jack cheese
  • 1 bag of Mexican Cheese Blend
  • 2 10oz cans of Rotel
  • Milk

First, you want to preheat your grill and put it on the lowest flame setting. Next, brown your meat. If you don’t want to use chorizo, you can always just substitute more ground beef. After the meat has browned, add taco seasoning and put it in an aluminum pan. Chop up your onions, jalapenos, and garlic and also put in the pan. Now for the best part, add ALL the cheese into the pan with 2 cups of milk. After all the ingredients have been added, put that bad boy in the grill and stir occasionally. As the cheese melts, add more milk it get that creamy texture. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
