PlayStation is getting into the tournament biz. The Evo fighting game tournament in 2021 is June 10th through August 3rd, and during that time you can participate in some PlayStation tournaments for some pretty fat cash. The FBC Arcade Evo edition will have players squaring off in “Granblue Fantasy: Versus,” “Guilty Gear Strive,” “Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate,” and “Tekken.” There’s a prize pool of around $20k for that tournament. Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction tops the list of Netflix’s most watched original movies, meaning Netflix originals. The Thor star’s military rescue movie has racked up 99 million views. Also in the top 10 are:

  • Bird Box” – 89-million views
  • “Spenser Confidential” – 85-million views
  • “6 Underground” – 83-million views
  • “Murder Mystery” – 83-million views
  • “The Old Guard” – 78-million views
  • “Enola Holmes” – 76-million views
  • “Project Power” – 75-million views
  • “The Midnight Sky”/ “Army of the Dead” (tied) – 72-million views

Seth Rogen has been working on a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The film, supposedly all CGI, now has a premiere date. Rogen took to Twitter with a photo (below) of some notes supposedly written by Leonardo and a subsequent tweet (not pictured) that reads “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, August 11, 2023. Leo takes notes like I used to.”
