Here are today’s Nerd News! headlines:

The Candyman reboot dominated the box office earning $22.4 million, which was double what it was expected to earn. Behind it was Free Guy starring Ryan Reynolds still doing well at $13 million and the Paw Patrol movie in 3rd.

Gamescon 2021 happened over the weekend, and some major release announcements were made:

1. Halo Infinite –  December 8^th, along with a special controller and Xbox Series X to commemorate it.
2. Marvel’s Midnight Suns –March of 2022,. you’ll be able to customize your hero or play as as  classics like Iron Man, Wolverineand Captain America.
3. Saints Row Reboot – February 25^thof next year. The reboot’s game play will be similar to the third Saints Row game.
4. Horizon Forbidden Rest – The wait is over, expect this one on February 8th.
5. LEGO Star Wars:The Skywalker Saga –  This one is expected in the Spring.
