Serving the Rockford community since 1978, animals have been brought to Noah’s Ark in need of food, a warm bed, and most importantly a FUR-ever home.

Every week, we are introducing you to a cat or dog from the nonprofit Noah’s Ark that is looking to find its forever home.

Our Adoptable Pet of the Week is Scarlett! She is a 2-year old blue pit bull mix who is funny, sweet, and snorts just like a pig. She is a very entertaining dog who is great with people and loves everyone she meets.

“Scarlett’s only issue is that she does need to be the only animal in the home,” says Jaime Kusler, Noah’s Ark’s kennel supervisor. “Outside of needing to be the only animal in the house, she’s an absolutely phenomenal pet.”
