The mission of the Rock River Valley Pantry is to provide healthy, nutritionally balanced food to families, individuals and elderly persons who are in need of assistance.

The pantry serves more than 6,000 people each and every month, about one-third of whom are children. About 10% are elderly. Children who are hungry can suffer cognitive development in addition to experiencing health issues related to hunger. In our community, we have low-income families and elderly struggling each day who often are forced to make decisions between eating and taking important medications.
