ROCKFORD– Mercyhealth is celebrating Mardi Gras this Fat Tuesday in its Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside.

The NICU staff like to make all holidays feel special for all the families. Their own NICU crew were also decked out in purple, green and gold — the holiday’s traditional colors.

“Thank you to the families who entrust us with their little one’s care,” Mercyhealth said in a news release.
