BELOIT, Wis. — What would we do without our moms? She’s the chef, ATM, the nurse, the teacher, taxi driver and best friend all rolled into one. Believe it or not, Mother’s Day is THIS Sunday, and there are plenty of places to treat mom in Beloit.
Like taking her out for brunch or drink on the rooftop, to grabbing lunch or coffee in the beautiful downtown Beloit area. Here are a few activities to take mom to do on Mother’s Day:
- Bessie’s Diner: Brunch buffet 7 a.m.-2 p.m. includes all-you-can-eat quiche, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and more. $18.95 per person, $6.95 kids 4-10, age 3 and under free. No reservation required.
- Blue Collar Coffee Co.: Open 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Lucy’s #7 Burger Bar: Open 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
- The Rooftop at Hotel Goodwin: Open 4-10 p.m.
- truk’t: Open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Treat mom to a margarita flight. Flavors include original truk’t margarita, strawberry and passionfruit
- Velvet Buffalo Modern Italian: Special brunch from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. includes bomboloni, Bellini’s and more. Regular menu is available for dinner from 5-9 p.m.
