ROCKFORD — State Rep. Dave Vella invites canine friends and their owners to an event Saturday near Midway Village Museum.

Bark in the Park will feature goods and services from local businesses and nonprofits that serve pets, pet-safety demonstrations and more.

“This event will be a celebration of the many great organizations in our community that love dogs,” Vella said in a news release. “It’s also a great opportunity to learn about different businesses in our area that cater to our favorite pets, in addition to seeing some of the wonderful dogs that call our community home.”
