Renee Henert of the Forest Preserves of Winnebago County joins Steve Summers on This Week in the Stateline to talk about some of the best places to see the fall foliage in the region.

There are 44 forest preserves in Winnebago County covering more than 11,000 acres.

“It’s just worth getting out, even if it’s a short 10-minute walk or you do the whole trail,” Henert said. “It’s always just a good thing to be out in nature.”
