The Rockford Police Benevolent and Protective Association Unit 6 with assistance from Target’s “Heroes &
Helpers” donation program helped 100 kids shop for Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at Target’s East State Street store in Rockford.

“With COVID restrictions in place last year, we were unable to hold this event and are truly happy to bring it back for 2021,” Rockford Police officer Vince Kelly, president of Rockford PB&PA Unit 6, said in a news release. “The PB&PA strives to improve relationships with those we serve and is proud to support this event year after year.”
