Allison comes to the Harlem School District with 23 years experience in education, including the past 17 in administration.

Allison is now the dean of students at Geneva Community High School. He has coached high school football for 23 years and track and field for eight.

He said his goal as the district’s athletic director is to foster a culture that will help students grow as athletes and people. He thinks that being a great teammate is one of the most important skills that sports can teach us.

“We are excited to see what Reed will bring to our athletic department and our programs,” the district said in a news release.
