ROCKFORD — Puppy yoga is returning to Rockford City Market next month.

The 60-minute all-levels yoga class complete with cuddly puppy partners is slated for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the indoor market, 116 N. Madison St.

The class is led by instructor Andrea Koch and the puppies are provided by Paws Humane Society. It costs $45 to participate and all proceeds from the event are split between Paws Humane Society and Rock River Development Partnership, the nonprofit that runs the market.

The food hall will open at 8:30 a.m. before the event with coffee and mimosas available for purchase. The doors for Puppy Yoga at The Market open at 9:30 a.m. with class beginning at 10 a.m.
