Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara joins Steve Summers on This Week in the Stateline to catch up on news from the past few weeks, including the announcement that Metra is coming to downtown Rockford and the approval of the Barber-Colman redevelopment into Colman Yards.

"You can't have a strong city when you have 26 acres of a terribly dilapidated land that your city owns," McNamara said. "This is going to increase property values. This is going to attract residents to our communities. This is going to create good-paying jobs. This benefits all of us."
