Rockford’s own Insurance King, Dan Block, worked a part of our childhood into his ads when he hooked up with Dustin Diamond for a series of commercials.  Sadly, Dustin passed away in February before he could see the finished version of Dan’s latest project, “Kevin.” Dan brought “Kevin,” the robot “Screech” created on “Saved by The Bell,” to life. The plan was to work “Kevin” into the ads with Dustin. Unfortunately, it wasn’t able to happen.

Dan still created the only working replica of “Kevin.” Check out this video he posted to the Insurance King Facebook page. He walks you through the whole story, what Dustin thought about it, and what he might do with “Kevin” now that it’s finished. No doubt, Dustin would have been excited to work with “Kevin” again.
