LOVES PARK — Circle of Wellness is preparing to expand with a new vocational school that will train the next generation of massage therapists and wellness workers.
The Institution of Integrated Education will debut later this summer with a previously selected class. Public enrollment will happen next fall.
“We plan to teach more than just massage therapy,” said Leila MacQueen, owner of Circle of Wellness, 1820 Windsor Road. “So keep a lookout for us growing and opening up more locations.”

MacQueen made that announcement Monday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Parks Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the company joining the chamber and marking one year at its current location.
“The buildout of our med spa has really grown exponentially in the last few years,” MacQueen said. “We’re really well-known for massage, but we have 20-some massage therapists who are trained in all specialties.”
MacQueen said Circle of Wellness has seen an increased demand of roughly 300 patients a month since moving to Windsor Road in Loves Park on July 10, 2022. The company has been in business now for 15 years.
It offers massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology, chiropractic services, injury rehabilitation, red light therapy, infrared sauna, body contouring and personal training, among other health and wellness services.
“We’re basically pain and beauty all in one place,” MacQueen said.

It is also adding two new machines: Tempsure, a high radio frequency device designed to firm loose skin and minimize wrinkles, and the Mona Lisa Touch, a noninvasive laser therapy used to treat vaginal atrophy.
Anyone interested in learning more about its services can attend an open house and health and wellness fair on Saturday.
