LOVES PARK — Hundreds of people attended the first Rhythm of the Heart Music Festival on Saturday at Loves Park City Hall festival grounds.

The new event, which was born out of last year’s 75th birthday bash for the city, featured four bands, food trucks, live painting, kids activities and concluded with fireworks.
