Bessie’s Diner located at Southwest Regional Wisconsin Airport (JVL), is hosting a Fly-in or Drive-in Pancake Breakfast Saturday, September 19, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. outside the diner by the runway. The family-friendly event will feature all-you-can-eat pancakes with “elevated” toppings, bacon or sausage, coffee, milk, juice, and planes (of course).

“We invite community members to join us for great food and plenty of family fun at this one-of-a-kind fresh-air event,” said Jamie Keraka, general manager at Bessie’s Diner. “Future flyers will get to enjoy eating breakfast with a super close-up view of planes.”

Tickets for the event are $9 for adults, $6 children up to 6 years old, 3 and under are free, and may be purchased online here. In-flight command pilots receive a complimentary meal.
