While it was a difficult decision, it’s one we all would make. Family trumps everything.

If you’re on social media at all, you’ve probably gotten to know Brian and Stacy Weavel. They are the owners of Anna’s Pizza & Pasta in Winnebago.

They are always posting their delicious food on Instagram , connecting with local business owners and media personalities and are very involved in the community.

Pizza and pasta aren’t the only things they do (they were voted the Rockford area’s #1 pizza place!), they also have done many fundraisers. To give you an idea of how generous they are, they have raised over $250,000 for schools, reading programs, athletics, the sick, the needy, church groups, sponsoring, etc. To say they have made a positive impact is an understatement.

Brian and Stacy announced on social media that they will be closing Anna’s Pizza & Pasta after 24  years. While it was a difficult decision, I think it’s one all of us would make.

Nothing compares to your family.

Brian and Stacy mention in the Instagram Post below that having a family that is very active and working 80 hours a week, 7 days a week can be very taxing and doesn’t leave much time for family, which is most important.

There isn’t an official end date set, but it will be in the next few months.

Thank you for everything Brian and Stacy, especially that incredible pizza.

After almost 24 years, Anna's Pizza, Winnebago,IL plans on closing its doors. It has been a VERY difficult decision but Owner Brian Weavel and his wife, Stacy, have decided to sell the building and close Anna's #pizza & Pasta. With so many changes in business, Brian has been considering this for a some time. "Having a family that is very active and working 80 hours a week, 7 days a week just does not allow for as much family time as I would like. I have missed a lot and now I want family to be my focus!" We are VERY proud of what Anna's has done in our community. Since 1995 we have been a STAUNCH advocate for Winnebago and it's #smallbusiness. We have accomplished so much with this little corner #pizza place. We have employed over 150 of our local youth along the way. Over the years, with your support, Anna's fundraising efforts have produced over $250,000 for schools, reading programs, athletics, the sick, the needy, church groups, sponsoring, etc.. I hope you will agree that Anna's has made a positive impact. Although roles will change, Brian Weavel will still be very active in Community. We plan on being open for another month or two, so please take advantage of this time to utilize any Gift Certificates you may have. We will keep you posted on a firm last day. All scheduled Catering events will take place as planned. We want this last month to be a memorable one, so please stop by and share some Anna's memories. "It has been an honor to be a part of your Birthday Parties, Weddings and Family Night. I will truly miss serving pizza to my community!" Love, Brian and Stacy Weavel
